This ancient form of embroidery uses Sashiko thread and simple running stitches to create stunning geometric patterns. You’ll find everything you need to get started with Sashiko embroidery in our collection of Daruma threads and needles. Japanese Sashiko thread is a smooth cotton thread that’s easy to stitch with. It’s supplied on a 40m card or in a 40m or 170m skein and comes in an array of beautiful colours.
