Dubonnet is an easy cardigan with a vintage feel, casual enough for jeans and a tee-shirt, but also special enough to wear with a lovely sundress. It features 3/4 sleeves, a touch of lace and a hip-length, plus delicate lipstick pockets that add a pop of colour while accenting the flattering, wearable silhouette. Lace breaks up the body and is centred on the low waist, above a deep ribbing for a modern touch and another flattering detail. The sweater body is knit in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes. Sleeves are knit separately and then joined at yoke. Pocket linings are knit ahead and knit onto the sweater as you work up the body. Baby Cocktails Dubonnet is easy to modify for length, width, or lace panel placement. You can choose to work full or short sleeves as well, without having to rethink the design. Yarn requirements: 915 (960, 1052, 1143, 1235, 1326) (1417, 1509, 1600, 1692, 1783)m. Tension: 22 sts to 30 rows in stockinette stitch, lace stitch pattern and 2x2 ribbing = 10cm.
