Pearl fibre is produced via a highly sophisticated production where pearl powder is added into the cellulose spinning process. The pearl powder evenly covers the inside and outside of the surface of the fibre and is permanently bonded. The pearl gives the fibre a lustrous shimmery look and a soft touch, while tencel holds the form of the thread. Pearl dust feels soft on your skin, it smoothes your hands during knitting. Yarn containing pearl fibre is a natural UVA protector, pearl fibre has a fantastic drapability. Lanamania Pearl yarn is perfect for summer coats, shawls and other accessories.
