ChiaoGoo Forté Interchangeable Needle Set

With the Forté interchangeable needle tips set by ChiaoGoo you have everything you need for your next knitting project! This luxurious set consists of interchangeable tips, cables and many different accessories, packed in a handy and stylish case. The interchangeable tips are made from durable stainless steel and beautiful African Blackwood. The needle and screw sizes are laser-engraved onto each needle tip. The needle tips are not only very beautiful, but they also offer an overall smooth knitting experience. That experience is enhanced by the TWIST SWIV360 cables in this set. The steel cables feature a silver-coloured nylon coating: this material makes the cable sturdy, yet still allowing the cables to glide effortlessly through the stitches. The cables can be attached to needle tips thanks to a perfectly fitting cable key. The holes for the cable key can also be used as a lifeline to retrieve dropped stitches, for instance. The SWIV360 system also ensures that the needle tips can rotate easily, without the cable kinking or twisting. The entire set is packed in a dark grey and black case that features a zipper closure. On the inside, the case features a large slip pocket for patterns and notes and a large and small zippered pocket to store cables and accessories. The tape measure, scissors, needle gauge and stylus pen can be neatly stored in their own compartment. Small accessories, such as stitch markers, are packed in a metal box. You can store the needle tips neatly in the numbered compartments of the removable needle holder. The needle holder can be removed from the case quickly and easily and can be clicked back onto the magnets in the case after use. The magnets are also useful for holding metal marker rings together while knitting. The filled case measures 23.5 x 18 x 3cm.

All parts of the Forté set are suitable for screw sizes S and L and can be combined with other needles, cables and accessories by ChiaoGoo in the same screw sizes.

General information applicable to all ChiaoGoo interchangeables

TWIST and SPIN products share the same screw size, making them compatible with each other. All needle tips and cables are laser engraved with the respective screw size:

• M = MINI, applies to needle sizes 1.50-2.50mm (10 and 13cm) and 1.50-3.25mm (8cm)
• S = Small, applies to needle sizes 2.75-5.00mm (10 and 13cm) and 3.50-5.00mm (8cm)
• L = Large, applies to needle sizes 5.50-10.00mm (10 and 13cm)

The MINI range is not compatible with the S and L screw size, therefore all MINI needle tips require a MINI cable. Please note that the 10cm- and 13cm-long MINI needle tips are too long for use with the 5cm-, 13cm- and 15cm-long MINI cables. They can be easily connected by means of a MINI cable connector to extend the cable length. ChiaoGoo also offers adapters which can connect MINI, S and L screw-sized products together.

Exception: the ChiaoGoo MINI SHORTIES needle tips (sizes 1.50-3.25mm) are only compatible with MINI screw-sized products.
