Cross Stitch/Tapestry

Cross stitch embroidery is usually done on loosely woven fabric with tiny holes for stitching, such as Aida. The best needle for cross stitch is a tapestry needle with a rounded, blunt point so that you don’t accidentally split the threads of the fabric. Blunt tip needles have a large eye to hold several strands of thread or yarn. They come in a range of sizes - the larger the holes of the fabric, the larger the needle size. These needles are also perfect for sewing up knitting.
