Recommended needle sizes for lace weight yarns range from 1.50 - 2.25 mm (US 000-1) and recommended crochet hooks range from 1.40 - 2.25 mm hooks. However lace weight yarns are equally beautiful worked up on larger needle sizes for a more diaphanous look, or held double to create a fingering weight gauge.
